We LOVED the Tree Frog cabin. We stayed here for 2 nights for our first anniversary. The cabins are very private, we LOVED the rocking chair porch, hot tub and the babbling creek. We have recommended this to several others. Owner was great, we got a deal too for October! Very clean and comfy.

We've stayed in the Lily Pad, absolutely beautiful! It was by far the cleanest cabin that we've ever seen, and we've stayed in a bunch. Very secluded, quiet and relaxing. We were there this past October and loved it so much we are returning to stay in Gylen in August. You will not find a sweeter person than Linda Smiley! She is wonderful and will go out of her way to make sure that you feel welcomed and that all of your needs are met. Thank you Ms. Linda! :)

The pictures of Tree Frog cabin do not come close to doing it justice. It is a beautiful, private, comfortable haven, close enough to great attractions like Grandfather Mt., Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Blowing Rock, etc. while still really being "away from it all!" We cooked in the great kitchen one night and ate out at delicious restaurants the other two nights. The hot tub is really a treat -- and really really private! This is a very luxurious getaway in the mountains!

This is an amazing cabin in an amazing setting. The pix don't do this place justice. everything you need for a romantic getaway. Hot tub is on VERY PRIVATE deck. Bed is huge and comfortable, loaded wth quilts. We are already planning for next year, and the owner is a doll!

Great Location (remote but not too remote)....Beautiful cabin....great for a retreat & some major downtime. Great creek runs right in front of cabin - sit & rock on the porch & listen to the creek. Hot tub is a special treat as well! Owner couldn't be nicer.
